The guys that do my lawn came this evening and it was really high from all of the rain. Only a week and it was about a foot tall. After they finished, I went outside to inspect all of it. They do a wonderful job! I chatted with Blue some more about our plans and now I'm getting ready to sleep on my one little tiny blanket. That's okay for now. I'm packing my suitcase with my toys, food, treats and other important items and leaving for better pastures soon. I've always wanted to travel! I know she won't miss me.
One small blanket is all I have left on this very hard couch. How could she do this to me?
Outside inspecting the lawn and the sun is in my eyes again. Sunglasses? No! Ms. Stingy can't seem to buy any for me.
I thought maybe I'd see a possum around the tree but it's too early in the day for them. I got a great recipe from my good friends! You probably saw the recipe...doesn't it sound delicious!! Many thanks to Kendra, Daisy and Bella!!!!
Here's Blue! He's on the lookout for possums too and if anybody can catch one, it's him...he's fast!

Time to go...thanks Ms. Stingy for chopping off my head in the picture. Got to go talk to my attorney and then get out tonight tracking down some possums.

Be careful of those possums! My mom is kind of afraid of them. The ones around here only come out at night, but they sure are weird-looking.

OMC Holly you are most definitely in need of some guidance in the art of making the Mom feel guilty...and since I'm 9...I'm the gal to guide you. Don't pack you bag....stay!! When Mom is in the room sigh a lot, wiggle around uncomfortable on the floor, when you see an old shoe put your precious head on it and look up longingly with your beautiful eyes and blink a few times. If this doesn't get you another blanket.....I have another plan.
Sorry we are late...mom recorded all 6 hours of the Royal Wedding she just finished watching the 1st 3 hours. MOL

Oh Holly we know your mummy loves you lots and lots. Thats why she bought you a beautiful new blanket. Moves are very stressful, it will all work out well in the end. However, if you do want to travel you can come visit us. We have a wonderful park at the end of our road. It has fields to run in, woods to hide in and a big play park full of children to play with :)xx
Oh Holly, don't leave home. Mom loves you so very much and was trying to do something nice for you. How will you get to Holly's Rock if you run away? You need to be there with Mom so you can take good care of her. ANd looks at all your beautiful green grass - might be hard to find a new yard as special as yours. Think about it and maybe give that new blankie a test run.

Oh, sweet Holly you gave us watery eyes, you poor baby. Don't ever think your mama don't love you, she loves you very much. That is why she tossed your blankies, she wanted you to have a nice, clean new blankie. You really should try that new blankie. Your Mom loves you...sometimes hu-moms toss or give away things away only to replace them a different one...so a new blanket may very well be coming your way!

Oh dear Holly, I'm so sorry to hear about your old blankie being thrown away; we don't really agree with what your mom did but please don't run away from her as I know she loves you very much. I guess shes trying to get you something new, something even much more better and comfy.

We're so sorry to hear of your misfortunate loss of personal space and blankets. Did you and Blue ever find any possums yet? Keep watch and we hope your negotiations with a lawyer work out. Why is it every time we find a nice smelly spot we like the humans come and mess with it. We sympathize.
