By this evening the tech guys had got the phone working but it wasn't ringing. After talking to one who said he was going to send her to a higher power...which made her laugh.....and made him laugh because he said he was glad she was so patient. She said she wasn't patient, she was very tired and had a headache and was just punchy. Anyway, someone in the tech department got it working except for the voice mail and she is too tired to call yet again. 21 days and still counting! Really though, the tech department people are the ones that do the job right along with the ones that do the work outside and inside your house. Forget the sales people....once they have you, they don't seem to care.
Moving on..the snow has mostly melted for now which is good for us. Last year on the 18th we got two feet of snow which stranded everyone here. Mom has a very old 4 wheel drive Jeep and it was doing good until someone ran her off of the road into a ditch. We had to get shoveled out. It's not how you drive, it's the other ones coming at you around here you have to watch out for!
Just some pictures from today....not many was taken because mom was on the phone all day long. What an experience!
Bored.
Me and "Mini" Thunder taking a nap.
This is "Pete"!!! Mom captured him on a commercial finally.
Yet another commercial with "Pete"
This got mom's attention really quick since the supervisor said we could take $20.00 off our bill for our trouble.......$300.00 back? Hey Pete...what about us!!! We ordered that!
Think how many noms and toys that doggies and kitties in shelters could get!!! It would be wonderful for them! Cox....do something good...give to the animal shelters that need help so much. We think Cox should give $300.00 to shelters to help them because of all of our trouble. That would make some doggies and kitties very happy...doesn't that seem like a good idea? It would even help their reputation and they sure need it! We want the $300.00 and we want it to go to all shelters directly from Cox to the shelters from everyone on our blog! That's not hard to do! We'll send them a list and check it twice too! If that's confusing, send the check to us and we will distribute it among the shelters that everyone supports!! Come on Cox...make the animals without homes have a good Christmas...we know you can do it.
Think about it "Pete".....you really could do a great thing here!!!!
Have a Great Day!
Lots of Lots to All!!

Mom says one has to wonder about the Freudian interests of a khompany named Cox with a spokesman named Pete -
I'm not sure what she means but....

PeeEssWoo: We still think TWENTY green paper$ is a small price fur them to ofFUR!
I think Pete is actually deaf and can't hear a thing you're saying! Have a great weekend you two!
I forgot what I was going to say because of Khyra's comment! LOL!
Anyway, I think your idea is great. They should give money to all of the animal shelters. Heck, even one shelter would be helpful!
Have a super lovely weekend!
Kisses,
Emma Rose
You are on to one fantastic idea, Holly. Now to get someone to not only hear the idea but to act on it - good luck with that.
We would love some snow, but the Momster says two feet might be a bit too much. We really don't agree with her, but we still don't see any white stuff here.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Maybe the Higher Power they talked about can help with your idea!

Hates to say it, but Pete looks like, well, one of Frankie Furter's snowmen. Either that or maybe a statue. He looks FROZEN!!
I Love your idea about giving to the shelters. Someone should send them the link to your blog.
I hope you get the telephone situation corrected before Christmas, 2011!
Love,
Rusty
Poor Holly, it must be boring with all this cox stuff going on. If Pete doesn't give you the $300 back, I say we show him who's the boss!
They really meant me, up in my spaceship.
Just teasing,
Yours,
What a great idea you have there, Holly!
We are loving the Christmas music on your blog.
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
AT least you somewhat still have your sense of humor, talking about Pete. Holly, things will get better. How could they get much worse. That Cox company needs to be deleted. What a good idea to donate that $300.00 to the shelters. Shall we all write letters. Take care and we are crossing our paws that someday your phone will be fixed.
Oh Khyra....good one!
I hope Cox listens to you!
Your mom is a really patient lady!! And so are you Holly! Even when you are bored your cute!
I wouldn't trust that Pete! He doesn't look like he can tell the truth.
Okay, Khyra's comment can't be beat so we will not even try. Too funny!
