The 20th Day...and it snowed!

We thank all of you for letting us know how you feel about our service with Cox Communications....our friend in the digital age.  "Our friend"....really?    It has not been a good month and we really wish we knew who has called us on our disconnected number.  Once again we are posting this early because you never know when they will pull the plug on your service.   First the phone, then the cable?  It could happen.  It did happen!  We tried to call the guy from Monday and left a message about something else that was messed up but he never returned our call.  We called again and only got his voice mail once again.  Perhaps he doesn't want to talk to us anymore!  Fine...we got someone else and they fixed it....quick too.  She must be very good at her job!  It's sad that so many bad ones make a company have poor service because there are some really good ones that work there. 

We really hope that tomorrow goes well for a change and we get our old number back.    We guess we will find out on Friday...whether it really worked right or not.  Like my mom's mom always told her when she wanted something so much...."if wishes were horses, than beggars would ride."  Guess we best not wish too much  for good service!  That's a saying that has stuck in mom's head forever because as a child, she wanted this and wanted that and her mama would always come back with that saying.  Sometimes she would get what she wanted but only if it was really important.

Over the night, we got snow and ice here.  It has been a very cold fall and already it's snowed with sleet twice.  Mom won't even step outside on it because she does not want to fall down.   I've been playing in it though and having fun with Blue who was happy to see snow and ice.  We have been sliding up and down the fence line all day off and on and tonight.   Blue's dad was kind enough to shovel our walk for us too and we appreciate that so very much!

Me and "Mini Thunder" playing on the couch.  Mom saw another movie today with a Sibe in it...that dog was sooooo beautiful!!! 

Mom is still practicing doing videos...this was the snow and sleet coming down.  She tried to get me but all she got was the snow and sleet, the trash cans across the alley and the yard.  I was busy with Blue and we were both out of her sight!
