Pictures from the Past

Day 22 meant yet another call to Cox Communications.  Our  voicemail still doesn't work.  This time we got someone in tech that wasn't that helpful like yesterday.  Maybe he should move over to the sales department.  We have messages from the last 22 days...we just can't get to them.  Nice isn't it.  This guy said he would send it to the testing department.  We liked the nice guy on Friday who sent us to a higher power...now that worked!!  This hasn't helped. 

Khyra's mom, you cracked us up with your comment on the posting yesterday!!!  Thanks...we needed a laugh and that brought it!!  Which got us wondering why they did come up with Pete as a spokesperson for Cox and then we haven't even mentioned that we were told last week that a Sonya Fukomeyer (really!) was the one that pulled the plug on us and left us without a dial tone!  Mom has an entire legal pad of names, dates, times, what was said and still wants "PETE" from Cox to donate $300.00 to animal shelters or organizations.  Actually we want Cox to donate the money because "PETE" doesn't exist!!!!  We kill flys so it cannot be PETA.   We don't consider them a rescue organization at all.

Today we are posting pictures of dear Alex and his last Christmas.  Some other old pictures too and a few of me.  Alex was a sweet guy and would even put up with that hat on him.  Mom has yet to get me to wear it.  I shake it off and run with it.  I'm a naughty dog and probably won't get any new toys this year!

Alex and his little Snoopy's.  He loved that toy so much and put holes in them immediately.  He has a new one here with an old one.  Mom still has one in her "Alex" box and one on top of the refrigerator.  

We think this is the picture that got published in our newspaper that year. 

This just happens to be the same day of the year many years ago that mom's dream came true!! She got her horse!  He had a little snow on his nose!

It wouldn't be Christmas without putting a picture of Sam and Zoe in here!

This is the red ball that made me get thrown in the slammer for 10 days when I was a puppy!  That little red ball is still here somewhere.  They didn't put it into evidence in the case against me.

Oh well...it was only one cushion!!!  Plus the footstool and the cushions on the chairs at the table,  and a small place in the kitchen cabinet. The book cabinet is pretty much doomed also.  Puppies do these things though!   I've calmed down since that first year somewhat.

The first time I was able to steal a sock, I held on to it for days like it was gold!  I was so happy!

I slept with it and kept it under my paw in case mom had ideas about getting it back.

Me as of last month...which actually is a few days before the Cox saga happened!

There is snow on the ground now with ice and it's cold.
