Looks good mom.
Never better!
After I checked the lawn and ate my breakfast, mom had grabbed the bags for us, my leash, the camera and said, "let's go for just a little ride!" I was fine with that because we hadn't been out for awhile.
First stop, HollyRustyRocks!
I usually get some attention from people when I stand up on these rocks! Maybe they think I'm a lion or a mountain goat.
They were calling for bad t-storms. Mom decided to keep going anyway.
The next stop was the pond with the little waterfall. I almost jumped in and pulled mom in too. I'm sorry mom.
Something was making a really funny noise in that pond!
Moving along. Time to go. Up the road further!! Mom!!! Don't get lost again!
I found us another little house to live in. Mom said NO. It is so pretty and has a great view!
She showed me this sign. Bear Country? So? Is that like HollyRustyRocks?
Then she showed me this sign. Okay...I can switch my name to Holly Trail. No problem!
I was checking out the property around the little house where I want to live when I get married to Rusty.
Cool! Another pond!!
We were at Mabry's Mill! They had something that I tried to get to.
These beautiful creatures were making a big quack quack quack! I really wanted to play with them.
Mom wouldn't let me.
Mom loves these wooden fences. I love to smell them.
Anyway, she took about 100 pictures or more. We ended up going through Floyd, Va. which is where we tried to go last time when she got lost. This time she found Floyd but a really bad t-storm came and she didn't want to stop. At least she knows how to get there now (I hope she remembers!)
We got home about 5 and a half hours from the time we left for that "little trip". It was only 122.6 miles. I was tired and mom is limping on her "on the mend" fractured foot. I hope it's going to be okay and I sure hope she doesn't have to put that boot on again. At least she has it on hand and if all fails, she has the crutches too! It was fun except for running into two major t-storms. One in Roanoke when we arrived that had knocked trees down which in turn, knocked power lines down. I had to point it out to mom...she was busy looking at the fire trucks. Actually she was looking for a fire but it was wires down everywhere.
Have a Great Weekend!!
Lots of Love!!!!

What a great trip you had, Holly. We think this time your mom was right - you don't want to live near the bears, do you?
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
My dad wants to hire some yard guys...he grumbles everytime he has to cut the grass.
Mom said if she would have seen a sign saying there were bears around she would have been so scared.
What a great adventure Holly! I don't like to go in the car myself.
Woof! Woof! What a FUN great walk you had with your mom. For sure you n your mom are tired ... Be safe with the power lines. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
What a fun day! You really do have the best adventures :) I hope your Mom's foot gets all better really soon.

You have the best adventures! Thank you for sharing -- I love the pics! I think you should move into that little house. Maybe you can pretend you are in Little House on the Prairie....and your mommy can call you half pint....I'm just sayin'....

Holly, you found us the perfect place to live when we get married. I'm not so sure I like all the storms though. Be careful with all those power lines down and tell your Mom to be careful too. She can't run too fast with that fractured foot.
Love,
Rusty
