Celebration of Alex's Life

I am continuing the celebration of sweet Alex's life.   I think I must have taken at least a few thousand
pictures during the time I was lucky enough to be with my dear little guy!!

Alex at his new home.

One of his many toys

Reading his papers!

Alex and his buddy, Tequila

In bed with the three kitties, Angel, Lilly & Bingo (I had to squeeze in between them to sleep)

The day he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and cancer, a very good friend brought some new toys over for him to play with.  He looks like he is smiling!

Bingo with his very best friend, Alex.  Bingo always loved Alex and hung around him all of the time until Alex left for the Rainbow Bridge.  I always thought Bingo thought he was a dog instead of a cat!  He grew up always laying on Alex or with him and followed him around all of the time.

I didn't want the shirt anyway!  He used to steal my clothes out of the closets and run through the fields with them!  Trigger and his buddies are in the background....Trigger is the horse looking right at the camera...he was such a ham and seemed to love to have his picture taken too.

Hi Holly, what a gorgeous boy, they are beautiful photo's and lovely to remember. Our human was owned by a cocker spaniel Monty before and she said he would also pinch items of clothing and go and hide them although socks were the favourite. Big hugs to you Holly, Dex and Lou xxx

I love the "reading his papers" photo. You are lucky to have so many photos of Alex. I know now to takes lots of photos of my dogs, because my first couple dogs I have hardly any photos. Boy do I regret that.

Alex was a beautiful boy! He reminds me so much of my buff cocker Ginger who we lost in 1998 at age 15 to liver failure. I know how much you must still miss him.

Such wonderful memories! I know when I look back at photos of dear Cisco, or my first Golden Daisy, they are a little sad at first, because they are gone, but the memories are so sweet.
