Relaxing with Holly

The weekend brought humidity back along with some thunderstorms.  I decided to just lay around the house where it was cool.  The kitties stayed upstairs on "their" bed most of the day.  Every now and then Lilly comes down but Angel usually stays upstairs or on the stairs.

The downstairs part of the house is all mine.....well most of the time.  I have to let mom down here but only if she promises to feed me treats.  Lots of treats.  I think I have her trained now.  It sure was a lot of work trying to teach her commands on how to give me treats, bones, food, etc., but I guess worth the effort because she's doing things my way!  She seems to be a slow learner at some things but I love her anyway!!  (As long as she hands over those treats and takes me for rides to my Rock!)

Well done on the human training Holly, it really pays off sometimes :-) Louis is very scared of thunderstorms and shivers under the table poor thing. Have great Sunday, Dex & Lou x

Those humans are slow learners! Treats should be dispensed often - why can they not understand this?

Dear Holly, can you please share me some tips on how to train the humans at home?

Stay cool. Be relaxed.

I hope you get some better weather soon. No dog wants to spend too much time inside. Although, I guess if you have a whole level in your house to yourself, it's not so bad:)

It can be hard to train humans, the main thing is to stay consistant! You look very pretty in your pictures.

Hey Holly,

Do you have a treetz schedule you follow every day? You know, check them off when you get them so you know she hasn't forgotten any? I'd be interested to see it.

Kisses,
Stella

We're glad those cats know which part of the house is YOURS!

Humans are VERY difficult to train, but sounds like yours is coming along nicely.

Darlin' Holly, you are soooooooo beautiful!!!!!!!!!

:::sigh:::: they say it will be 102 here today....and feel like 104!!!!!!!!! Enough!!!!! Enough!!!!!!! Enough!!!!!!

We live on the second floor and have cathedral ceilings in our living room and dining room....our thermostat is in the living room so our air conditioner runs almost nonstop in these 100+ days (and that's having it set on 78-80).....we are really afraid to see our next a/c bill!!!!!!!!

Love to you, Holly, to your kitty sisfurs and to your mom.

Hey Holly...have we told you lately that we love you and your silky tummy!! Oh what pretty furs you have. As for training the Mom I might actually need to come up to visit you for lessons. I'm continually having to retrain this one.
