Another Adventure

Sometimes I wonder about my mom and our adventures.   On Tuesday she decided that since it was warm, she would take me to my rock on the Parkway in our old Jeep.  That sounded great to me and I was very excited.  We got in the Jeep and it started beeping and displaying a message.  Visions of the alarm in the house went through my head and I'm sure it did with her also.  She looked at it and promptly cut the motor off!!  (It was in dire need of coolant and of course she had no idea how to do it herself). 

She said she didn't want to disappoint me so we got in the old car which needed a new inspection this month.  (Old Jeep and old car, old house and mom is getting old too).    I rarely get to ride in it because it has seats that really like to eat my fur.  Black cloth seats that are now really blonde!  She called our mechanic and asked if she could bring the car in for the inspection and bring me in too!!  They are animal lovers so all was well.  We got out there (after going by and  missing it  by a few miles, turning around and coming back down the road) and went inside.   I was scared!  I've never been anywhere like that before but the nice woman was so kind to me and made me feel right at home.  He was nice too!   It was a fun time and we got the car inspected and mom decided since we were on that side of town, we would go to the Cove.  Well.....she passed it yet again and we ended up many miles away on the banks of the James River!!  I know.....she has a really bad sense of direction and seems to always get lost but we always end up back home.  

We were walking along the banks of the river and she was trying to take pictures.  The wind was really blowing hard and we had some geese stalking us.  We went one way.  They did too.  We turned and went the other way.  They did too.  Back and forth we all went until finally mom got tired of walking and blowing around so she said it was time to go.  About that time, they decided to get out of the river and come toward us and then mom really decided to run to the car.   She wears me out!  Afraid of those geese.....she's funny. 

Here's the pictures she was able to get...some probably have lots of hair blowing in the lens of the camera.  By time we did get home it was really bad and we had horrible storms again.
