I'm only on day two of the prescriptions so I guess they will take a few more days to work. The really good stuff is the ID food. I'm eating! I love that stuff! I love my treats too but the ID food is wonderful tasting to me! Mom gave me the other present she got the other day but I didn't play long with it. I'm more interesting in resting or eating. Guess it's the shots that are making me tired along with the infection. Who would have thought an eye problem would end up as a butt problem. The good vet said he wishes the ER vet had taken a little time to check me out instead of immediately saying cherry eye and go on home. Was there even a vet back there?

Oh, Holly, Scout says: OWIE! When he was adopted he came to our home with an infected anal gland. There are NO words to explain the pain I felt for him when the vet expressed his gland and cleaned it out. My heart literally broke! Our whole house is sending you many and many good wishes to feel better soon! Scout, especially is 'feeling your pain'.

It is a VERY Happy New Year!! So glad you got on some meds, some great tummy fixing food and a good plan. I know how worried your Mom has been and honestly in your last post I was worried for you too. Bring on better health, romping in the fields and crunch bones for 2011.
