She took me on Wednesday! We got to see my good vet and the one that I've seen since I was just a puppy. The ER vet had it wrong. I don't have cherry eye. I had something wrong with my eye that night that mom took me but it wasn't cherry eye...which mom kept saying all along. My vet couldn't even find anything wrong with my eye thank goodness. Whatever it was has healed itself. He did find out why I wasn't eating or drinking water. I had a temperature and an infection of my anal glands. I kept whimpering all the way out there which is something I never do. I was in pain.
Two shots later, two prescriptions and that wonderful ID food that I love for a week and I'm back home. I have to go back next week for a recheck. I was delighted to get the ID food and even ate some of the hard food with it. I think that ID food should be an everyday thing!
Thanks again to everyone for the prayers, paw and hoove crossings, purrs and everything. Hopefully, this will heal me. How something wrong with my eye went to the other part of me is weird but maybe not even related. All I know is I'm happy to get the great food and it is always fun to see my dogtor!!

We are glad that I don't have to have surgery on my eye!
