The kitty that was abandoned showed up again on our front porch!! We do not know exactly why the laws here say you can't feed a stray cat but we do know that a woman working at a store here was feeding the stray kitties on her lunch break and it was all over the news about they were thinking about charging her because it is against the law. That was a few years ago. Turns out when questioned, she said they were her cats but she didn't have the records from the vet to support it therefore she was breaking the law. Strange. We don't understand it.
Mom did get a few pictures of me and her kitty and the pupster that seems to be doubling in size by the day! That pupster is barking and on a long lead for now since it's in training. We think maybe it's a girl pupster but we are not sure. I was barking at her (we'll call the pupster a her for now until we find out) and since she started barking, I have lost my voice!

The pupster is growing really quick! It is on a lead that almost comes to our fence! Exciting!

Feed that kitty and water that kitty and adopt that kitty! The longer it stays outside on it's own the more time it has to get hit by a car or tortured by someone or attacked by a dog!
Generally the reason rules come about NOT to feed the homeless kitties is that the healthier they are the more they will breed. Also, if you don't feed them, their immunity will be compromised, they will become ill, and most likely will die. Thus ending the problem of the stray cats within a city.
Oh, how I hope you bring that kitty inside. Even if you just put it into a spare room for safety, food, water and comfort. If you can't keep it, maybe you have a friend who could adopt it from you. Obviously it wants a home and it has picked you☺
