Rain, Labs and Puppies

Monday sent us rain most of the day.  We definitely need it.  Our weeds are growing really high!  The grass is trying to grow some.  Mom went to her VET today or so she said.  I don't think she went sneaking out to that Gander Mountain again because she didn't come back with bags of merchandise.  I'm going to have to trust her on this one.  She said her VET said she was fine but he wants her to come back this week and get labs.  I thought LABS!!!  Oh boy!!   She had to calm me down and explain that it wasn't that kind of labs.  That was upsetting.   I thought maybe we could get a puppy!   I don't know when she will go this week.   I guess I won't be invited either.  I never get to go out with her when she goes to her VET.   Funny how she goes with me to my VET but maybe it's a good thing. because she has to pay for the visit and I don't have any money.

She told me to also calm down about the shed and it's contents.  She said it was a great big joke that was started some years ago and there is absolutely nothing that I need in the shed.  Of course that means she's hiding something in there that I haven't found.  Watch out when she opens that door next time we are outside.  I'll really give it a look around to see what she might be hiding in there.

I was outside for awhile waiting for the puppy next door to come out.   I waited and waited.  I got so excited when the peoples and the little puppy came out that I was barking and making a scene according to mom and she made me come back inside because she said I was disturbing the peace!  I can't help it.  I just wanted to meet the puppy.  Maybe next time when all the peoples are not out there.  Oh...that pupster was digging yesterday evening and nobody was outside!  He or she was digging like crazy.  Dirt was flying.  I was impressed.   I bet they don't leave the pupster outside alone again!

After that last picture, mom wasn't able to take a picture because everyone was outside with the pupster and she was trying tot get me to calm down.   If I hear the words "calm down" again, I think I will just howl.  That's all I heard today "calm down", "calm down" and on and on.   I will try again to see the pupster and maybe visit!  Today  the little granddaughter had the pupster on a leash and when I started barking and dancing around, the pupster got excited and almost knocked the little one down.  That's when mom got upset with me and made me come inside.  Later she felt guilty about making me come back inside and gave in.  I got a great big Busy Bone as a treat!
