Thankful for so much

I have been laying around today and trying to rest after a big week.  I was thinking about how thankful I am for all of the good friends mom and I have made on this blog.  It makes us both very happy to know so many great peoples and doggies and kitties.  I also have been thinking back to when I was at my first home with my real mom and dad and my sisters and brothers.  I thank the wonderful peoples very much for rescuing my mom who was lost and running loose.  I know it was a bit of a mishap when they put her in with dad because they had not had him too long and mom was in heat.  It worked out great though for us!!  Thanks to the nurses at cardiac rehab for talking mom into getting another dog which was me!  They really had to work on her because she was so upset over losing Alex, my brother at the Rainbow Bridge.  She finally gave in...lucky for me!!

We went over to their house several months after she brought me home.  The couple had kept one of the eleven puppies and her name is Duchess.  I saw my dad and my sister and the peoples that rescued my real mom.  What a great day it was!  It was a wonderful reunion!  Mom was told that they had got good homes for all of my sisters and brothers.   I was so happy!

The puppy that is golden is my sister Duchess.   I'm the blond sitting next to my best friend Darcie and next to her is my dad Domino.

I remember this period of my life well.  I ate almost all of mom's shoes!

Mom was seriously thinking about adopting this brother.  He is cute!

Mom took really good care of me.  It was cold and she gave me a heavy blanky in case I was cold!

Thinking back, mom and I are really fortunate and have so much to be thankful for in this lifetime.  Mom found me and in return, I found her.
