She decided that since it was another beautiful day that we should take a short drive. About five hours later, we got back home. (That's a short drive?) She didn't get lost this time at least. I told her to just get on the Blue Ridge Parkway, go south and don't take any turns except on to overlooks. She listened to me and didn't turn around until we were a very long way from home. It was a great day and she got some pictures too.

Today I had to check out all parts of the Rocks.
It's pretty high up here...don't even think about climbing it mom!

Mom laughed at my reaction when I saw these big dogs! What was so funny!
Mom took so many pictures and she said we would leave the rest for later. It was a wonderful day!!

Oh, Holly, what a beautiful day you picked to encourage your mom to take you for a ride! The sky was so blue and the clouds so fluffy. Your mama and my mama stop by your rock lots of times when we're riding on the Parkway just to make sure nobody has tried to run off with it! We'll always guard it for you! And I've seen those big dogs you saw too! There's something very strange about them! Love, Darcie
