I did eat a hole in it and destuff it. That line in the carpet...I did that one a long time ago!
We stopped at the overlook with the field next to it. At one time, there were donkeys and a mule.
It seems empty yet again.
Here is the field and there are no donkeys or mules!! Wonder what happened?
It was hot and humid!
I thought I smelled something on My Rock!!
I decided to climb up it to check it out.
The view from My Rock. We live somewhere down there.
We stopped at the Roanoke River Overlook and I found my own bench. I was trying to see the river!
I gave up on looking for it. It's really far down the trail. I could hear it roaring but mom said no to hiking down the trail. (She thinks she will get lost again and she probably is right). She always gets lost!!
The picture isn't really good but you can see the river (big zoom on that one)!
The sign! Mom has to take pictures of all signs to be sure of where we were!
Many thanks for the very kind comments on mom's 259th birthday!! She tries to be 39 but we all know that is far from the truth. Thanks to all of you!!
Have a Great Day!
Lots of Love!!

Oh, it's alright Holly if you chew up a few things...Chancy does that now and then too. You had a very nice walk and you look so beautiful walking around and finding your special bench. Hope you have a great night and day. Hugs and nose kisses
What a lovely walk you had Holly. What fantastic views you have there. Perhaps the donkey's have gone to live in an even bigger field somewhere? I expect they miss seeing you too :)xx
What a great adventure~you even included some rock climbing! Impressive.
Pretty views, and looks like you had the place to yourself.
That looks like a super sunny day.
Happy Birthday to your mum.
Love and licks, Winnie xx
Hi Holly, we really enjoyed seeing all the photo's of your lovely walk. We're very impressed that you have your own rock and your own bench ;-) Dexter & Louis x
You did rock climbing, Holly? You're one brave girl. I always see some rocks in one of our favourite doggy friendly parks but I'm never interested in them at all but my mom always puts me on top on one of them so she can take pictures of me. I really don't understand her, it isn't what I like to do at all so of course I don't look good in the pictures and she blames me that I don't smile properly. Then she asks me to do it again whenever we do there again. She never gives up. Sigh!!!

Hi Holly we saw your gorgeous self in the lovely purple hat over on Sammy, Andy and Shelly's blog.
It is the purrfect color for your lovely blonde furs too.
We were told to clean our our cookies and cache and that would help with the blogger troubles.
We did it and things seem to be faster now. If you want the instructions for doing that, send us an email to the address on our blog.
Hugs Madi

I loved your walk. Your rock has a gorgeous view. Did you climb all the way up there? Way to go, girl!
Your mom must be in the Guiness Book of World Records if she's 259 years old. Wow!
