Holly's Tree

Holly spent most of the day on Saturday trying to climb the pine tree in the backyard.  She would not stop and would not come inside.  I went down to the tree several times to see what she was looking at and never could find anything.  That evening, for the last time, I went down and looked up in the tree and found two baby doves sitting on the branch.  Luckily, they were almost grown and looked like they were going to fly so I got Holly on the leash and made her come inside.

Here's just a few of the pictures that day of silly Holly trying to climb the tree.  Luckily the baby birds made it out safe!

She was very entertained by the tree or what was in it on Saturday.

Do all dogs climb trees?

A neighbor across the street called me to ask why Holly was in the tree all day!

She just knows she can get to the top!

Mr. and Mrs. Dove Parents watching Holly!

She spent the entire day at the tree.  I last saw the baby birds on the roof flying to the other tree so they made it safe and sound.

Many thanks to Judi at SAS...Sammy, Andy & Shelly for updating our blog page and making so pretty!!    We love it and want to thank her for all of her hardwork and time.

Thanks Judi!!!!!

Have a Great Day!
Lots of Love!

Gosh we are glad Holly didn't get those baby doves. I don't think I have ever seen a dog climb a tree. That is unusual. Take care and have a great day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your purple hat and new header!!!!

This is too funny I just had lunch with two gal pals from NCSU. Since I retired we meet once a month. Anyway one of them was telling me her Beagle Maggie was trying to climb a holly tree over the weekend to get to a squirrel.

Holly and Maggie need to have a tag team to take care of the tree dwellers.

Your website is as pretty as you are Holly.

I understand the attraction of birds in trees but I am secretly glad the babies made it out safe and sound. (don't tell anyone tho, it's bad for my image)

Love and licks, Winnie xx

That sure was nice of them to update your blog for you. Very pretty. :)

Wow...birds in the tree. My sister Starr gets that way when the birds put a nest under our deck. She does nothing but stares at it. hehe
