We received an award!

We were honored to be given an award by Brian and also 5-Cat Style & The Flyer in the past few days! We thank them both very much and appreciate the award. We are supposed to tell seven things about ourselves.

Holly is now a bit over four years old.   She was one of eleven puppies all different in colors and markings.

Holly lives with two 14 year old kitties. Their names are Angel and Lilly and they seem to like her even though sometimes they act like they don't.

Our house has a fenced in backyard, thank goodness, where Holly can run off energy with Blue, the dog next door.

Most of you know we have had lots of attempts at sites stealing our pictures and the actually blog itself. We have no idea why and wonder about the last one called marketing affiliating group that stole an entire post and did a post for themselves with it.  Don't they have any writers of their own?  We wondered why they even stole the watermarked picture to go with it. You would think they would know better. We thank Sugar's mom for all of her help with the copyright information and how to do it and we thank Mimi, Loving for a Living, for putting that extra  protection on the blog.  I also thank Mimi for doing our blog setup and backgrounds for us, all of the creative items also because I have no idea how to do any of that myself. 

Holly recently went to the vet for her annual checkup and shots. We were told that she has gorgeous fur and eyes but the beginning of tarter problems on her teeth if not treated early. We got some tasty solution to use on her teeth and hope that does the trick. The vet said that would probably be her one problem area.  She always needs to drop about five pounds and she isn't going to do that by stealing my pot pies off of the table.

She loves to go for rides when the weather is nice.  We usually go for the day and end up getting lost.  So far we have found our way back home and hope that we continue to do so.  We look forward to nice weather again.

Holly loves to chew on Busy Bones and also loves to hide them in the house.  Today I gave her one and she put it between the covers on her couch, decided that wasn't good enough, brought it into the living room and tried to hide it on that couch.  I got a picture of it at which time she decided she best get it and eat it.  

Busy Bone....hidden the second time but not for long!
