We urge everyone of our friends to please check your sites with CopyScape or any other kind of Plagiarism alerts you can find. We do not want this to happen to you. It is horrible to go through and very upsetting.
We thank so very much Scout and Freyja's mom again for not only helping us but saving us. We don't know how to do a lot of things and she has always been here to help us. We think everyone knows her well on these blogs and she is a true angel. We were really just going to delete the entire blog because of this recent horrible activity.

Hi there....Amber and Rusty's Mom here.....Got your email today and will get back with you next week. I would like to learn a little more about this Copyscape and how it works. Amber has only done 10 posts but I can see how this can happen very easily. It's just too bad there are people like this in the world.

OH my gosh Holly we had no idea folks were 'selling' other pets via pictures online!!! We knew folks sometimes stole pictures but to say you have a pet for sale...mean mean mean!!!
Mom has started putting our name on our special pictures in hopes that would keep folks from taking them.

Holly, your mama and I talked about this yesterday and both of us were extremely upset that people could do such heartbreaking and mean things. I don't know Scout and Freyja's mom but she must be a wonderful person to help you so much and I thank her too for being so nice and helpful to you! I'm so glad you were able to get this Copyscape so pictures will now be safe. So many people would really miss your blog if you gave it up.

Who stole your photos? That is crazy. I need to have Jeremy start marking ours then if stuff like this is happening.
Woof! Woof! As I said before in my orevious posts in regards to this matter ... we are very unhappy that this is happening. This is the reason why/ n caused us to post less. Not only they steal your photos but most importantly precious photos. FYI: your mom knows photoshop ... ever since this happened to us we put a watermark on all the photos we posted. If mom does not know we can help. You can see a ©SGR at a paw (with hidden text on it). Apprently if someone copies your photo you can detect it when they cut the photo cause of the water mark. Also, you need to save your photos in a specific name so it can be easily track when you google it. We haven't google lately but we also set a google alerts everday which helps(we know who copies content from our blog). If you have time check out our previous posts in regards to copywrite n how to take their site down. Just let us know n will be glad to help out.

GRRRRRRR! Peoples like that make me really mad! I'm sorry that happened to you. I sure hope you contacted the webhost for the site that stole your pictures. Mom says the webhost will automatically shut down any site that steals from another site.

Thank you for the alert. I, too, have been happy with Blogger, and I've always put a copyright notice on pics & blog - however, I'm adding the site watermark across my pics now as an added precaution. It's a shame, as I always felt I those watermarks compromise the integrity of the creative photo, but in an effort to protect our work, it's a necessity in this cyber world. Thank you again. i found my photos on google images before from blogging so someone could easily lift them. i need to do watermarking too but get too busy. thanks so much for the heads up! heard of copyscape but never used it. take care!

We think that is so strange that people would do that... but Mama says she's actually heard of people doing that with CHILDREN'S pictures! They'd pretend to be an adoption lawyer and put up pictures of kids that "needed families"... except those kids HAVE families! Then people would give the person lots of money to arrange an adoption, and of course nothing would ever happen because the kids have families and their parents don't even know their pics are on the site. So... some people are just BAD examples of humans!!!

That is just awful. How did you know someone was stealing your pictures?? I have had a lot of spam on my blog lately so guess I had better ask my host about all this. I do have a copyright on my blog. We sure are sorry this has happened to you. Take care.

I need to check things out with Copyscape. I've had the spam problem but I'm not aware of any photos being stolen. It's horrible that someone stole your photos and for bad purposes.
Once I had someone come up to me in a pet store insisting that she wanted to buy my dog (who was with me). It was so bizarre. No worries - I said NO - no amount of money would convince me.
