I spent the night and continued to think about what it was I wanted to do. I ate and thought. I took a dozen naps and got back up thinking once again. I went outside to wait for Blue to come out so I could ask him what he thought. He never came out. I sat outside for an hour or so in the sun although it's really cold according to mom. I don't know what her problem is.....23 degrees didn't feel bad to me. I see no reason why we can't go for a ride on the Parkway or to the Cove but she disagrees. I am still thinking and wonder if Santa Paws really needs my help that much or should I just stay here. I think I could have lots of fun with Rudolph and his buddies. It would certainly be a very interesting trip as long as I didn't have to go down any chimneys.

Constantly looking over to my left where Blue should be. Where is Blue! I'm getting worried that he has left me. He's my running buddy! Maybe he left town!
I thought I heard a noise but it wasn't Blue.

Don't be sad, Holly. I heard that Blue was going to be the lead reindog this year because Rudolph is taking a little bit of time off. So just wait until Christmas morning and when you hear the sleigh bells, look up and you'll see Blue, the Red-Nosed Lab. In the meantime, go get that phone of yours and give me a call. Mom took my phone away for making too many calls but she'll still let me take calls from you.

Sounds like alot of fun to go visit Santa and give him help. Santa Paws, from the Christmas Air Buddies movie, is [blood] related to me. Isn't that cool?! He'd be nice to you, I just know it! Maybe you'd be famous...BUT there is one major con of going around to help Santa...your mom would miss you bunches. Afterall, when it comes down to it, she's the one that does EVERYTHING for you! Maybe this Christmas you should focus on makin Mom happy!

Well, I think helping Santa Paws would be Most Exciting and Wonderful. And I know he would really appreciate your help. But, um, don't you think you'd miss your mom an awful lot?
