Tuesday Thanks

We are so thankful for many things in our life.  Right now we are very thankful for the friends we have made on the blogs and the fun we have had.  Thinking back, mom was probably following blogs for about two years before she actually had the nerve to even start one herself.  She never thought she could do it.  With the help of some very wonderful fellow bloggers who asked her and helped her along the way and many thanks to The Op Pack for introducing us to begin with....and then when mom started and didn't have a clue what she was doing, Scout and Freyja's talented mom offered help numerous times and made our blog so pretty which we really appreciate very much and we thank all of you so very much for making it fun!

To Remington.....mom thanks you so much for your comment asking if she is a professional....no way!!  Mom loves to take pictures and always has her entire life but has never had any kind of lessons or even high tech camera equipment.  She is a Kodak mom...always has been and probably always will be.  She usually accidentally gets the best pictures when she isn't trying and when she tries to get a good one, she fails!!  After about a thousand a day, we come out with some decent ones sometimes!

To Mr. Pip...the thing that you asked about....the edging....I think it's the one you are talking about that you like....it's in Photoshop under frames.  It's supposed to be easy to do according to Auntie Gwen but mom has to take an hour to do it sometimes.  It softens the pictures and better yet, it hides dust, dirt and everything in the house that isn't supposed to be there!!

To everyone else....we love all of you!  We look forward to your comments, your blogs and we hope to have a great time for months and years to come!

Just some pictures that mom has been working on.  It's raining here and it's raining hard.  The roof is leaking again and we don't even care because it's old anyway.  We say let it leak!!!  Just don't get Angel's recliner wet!  Also please don't let mom go up the ladder again with the roofer this time like she did the last time...what a disaster that could have been.  Crazy mom...just crazy!  Stay on the ground!

Angel now officially owns the recliner.

A comfortable kitty is a happy kitty.

Angel making sure that Holly isn't going to get in "her" chair.

Lilly lounging in the living room.

Angel making herself comfy on the chair with lots of throws.

I'm watching it rain.   I don't want to get wet.

Looks like it's going to be raining for a day or so.  Better call a roofer mom!!

Before the rain.

Grazing in the grass here.   Maybe it will make me big like Blue who seemed to triple in size so quick!  She's still growing!!

This is my bush by the steps outside.   I have a tree and four bushes in my backyard.  Angel has the chairs and Lilly has the beds and chairs.  Mom has a roof problem!!! Not to worry...she's used to it....silly roof just can't hold a nail the right way!

We Hope Everybody Has a Wonderful Day!!!!
Lots of Love to All!!!!

My mom had been reading doggie blogs for almost a year before she decided to start mine! And it has been pawesome!
The other day my mom tried to work on her photoshop... and she was so frustrated that she uninstall it from the computer! Haaa!

Lovely post - but it makes us realize that we need to get our Mom learning more about Photoshop.

PeeS. Um, my kittehs told me they owned ALL the chairs in the house. But now I'm wondering since Angel just owns the recliner. But I'm a little skeered to talk to them about it.

Holly you and your Mom have a terrific blog. We love all the pictures and Mom is doing a first class job with the pictures. So our mom is going to try to figure out a way to get that darn Photoshop. We just love what you can do with pictures.
Take care.

What a beautiful post, Holly - we think the blogworld needed that today with all the nasty stuff going on. We were thrilled that we were able to convince your Mom to get blogging:)

Your Mom really does such a nice job with all the pics of you and Angel. We love the ones where you fade into the frame. Very nice work.
