Friday!!

Thursday was the usual day except for a few things.   Mom stayed on the computer too much again.  I have been scratching so much lately but it's not fleas.  Mom keeps checking me just to make sure that the meds from the vet is working.  No fleas but I continue to scratch.  She was on the computer and I was scratching and scratching until mom finally looked around at me.  I'm thinking.....help me!!  I have very fine hair and my ears are long in some places and short in the other places but my fur gets tangled very easy.  I had been scratching my ear and gotten my back nails tangled in my fur.  Mom wasn't sure what to do...she knew whatever she did was going to hurt me and she didn't want me to get mad or be in more agony than I already was.....so she just kind of halfway laid on my neck and grabbed my toes and got them out of my ear fur really fast.  Wow.  That was sweet....it might have hurt for a second but I was free!!  It's nothing like having your back foot stuck in your ear!  I was happy and she was relieved.

She decided to feed me after that and it was almost dark but she knew what she was doing (right) and poured my  cup of dry food in my water dish!!  I'm standing back from her going "what now"???   What was going through my mind was "you call that soup?"  She ended up pouring it in the yard beside the house and starting all over.  Next time I suggest she turn on the light.

She was playing with some pictures again (this is while I have my back foot stuck in my ear fur).....and she did some funny looking things.

"I didn't do anything wrong!"

Hi Angel....how are you doing in "your" chair?
(Mom cut my legs halfway off in this one...they look like they are about 2 inches long).

Hello Holly....I'm fine in "my" chair and how are you?

I was rolling around on the floor when she captured some more pictures of me.

Sweet Angel...doesn't have a clue as to what mom did to her picture.  Doesn't care either as long as she has "her" chair.

Looks like the 60's or 70's again here!   Not to mention she resized the picture and it's all messed up for that crazy looking frame.  Mom...please take some lessons!  Lots of lessons!!

Trying my best to take a nap.

Heading on down to my tree.  Blue was out and we ran the fence line several times.  Mom didn't get a picture though because she was busy taking out the trash which suited us fine.  I have to say that Blue just gallops slow now while I'm trying to race to keep up with her!!  She's definitely a winner and a beauty.  I'm so happy to have a friend next door to me!

Have a Great Day!
Lots of Love to All!!

My mom tends to do silly stuff (like putting my food in the water dish) when she is not wearing her glasses. She really can't see a thing, but she thinks she can and it leads to some funny situations!

Wow, Holly, we are so glad you got your foot unstuck from your ear. Maybe the heat in the house is making your skin dry. Does you Mom give you any fish oil or any kind of oil in your food? That could help.

Lovely framed photos, we love the one of sweet Angel.

Hi Holly, Ande here, I itch all the time too and it isn't fleas. It isn't any fun. The pictures are terrific. We enjoyed them a lot.
Hope you have a really fun week end.

Ahhh poor Holly. Gracie's had a bad week as well. She DID have fleas and had to get a treatment, then got sick, got a really bizarre haircut (from me), and a few baths. Not a happy camper. We're hoping the fleas are gone... Hope you stop itching Holly....

That must have quite a sight to see your paw nails caught in your fur. Remy gets all kind of stuff caught in his fur, no toe nails yet.

Kibble soup might have been pretty good.

Ouchie! I'm sorry abouts your foot getting stuck in your furs. That doesn't sound fun at ALL! I guess that's one good thing abouts having short brindle furs.

My mom does weird stuff like putting the food in the water dish, too. But it's not cuz the lights are out. It's cuz she gets distracted and then weird things happen. I really needs to work with her on the whole "focus" command.

Sorry Holly! Maybe its time for a hair cut --- wait, what am I saying! I am the one that will run away from groomers! Hehe. Silly me. I say that you just get some good medicine from the vet peeps that will keep you from scratching once and for all! I know how you feel. I just went to the vet today for another steriod shot and some antibiotics AND more antihistamines. I can't even count how many pills I take!!! So, I feel ya girl! :-)

Love,

Simba

My great-sister Max got her back paw caught in her collar once and she just sat there and waited until mum noticed. Mum nearly freaked out of course but Max was fine.
