Happy Sunday!!!

We had a rather crazy Saturday simply by going to the store and to the Blue Ridge Parkway!  Everyone seemed to think that they had to drive 100 miles an hour today and traffic was very heavy.  Mom has never figured out why everyone is going so fast and where are they going!  It's bad on the Parkway...it's so pretty and everyone is missing the scenery by flying down the road.  Not us....mom doesn't like to go fast because so many critters are just waiting to jump into the lanes...not to mention that the Park Rangers are very active this time of the year and watching thank goodness.  We appreciate them so much.   They do a wonderful job.  (She admires them and wanted to be one decades ago but didn't get the chance).

The crazy part started when mom got gas and drove off without the gas cap.   Great.  She went back to see if it was at the station (very embarrassed).  It wasn't...it was on top of the Jeep.  That's about as wild and crazy as it gets for us except for the traffic.  Really...what's the hurry!

These are the rocks!  Actually it's two big ones and I love to climb them!

I'm always happy here.

Mom thinks I'm kin to a mountain goat the way I love to climb.

You can bet one thing...I'm the only one climbing.  Mom is standing firmly on the ground!

What's that smell?  I know someone has been here.
