Family Memories

This is one of my favorite pictures of my grandmother and our dog Tinker.  I have always loved this picture very much.   Tinker loved her and went everywhere with her.  I don't think he hardly  left her side.  I was the one that brought him home when I was a kid.  He was a little tiny puppy.  Mama took him inside and gave him a bath and she loved him too.  Nana was his favorite person though.  She could never go out the door without Tinker.  Going through many pictures, I find a few of me with Tinker, some of mama with him but many with Nana and Tinker!

A wonderful tribute to both your Grandmother and Tinker. I love it when the dog chooses their special human.

What a great memory! Tinker was so cute. Isn't it something how some of our happiest memories and photos always seem to include a pup!

Wasn't it fun when grandmas and mothers wore 'house dresses'? I remember as a very small child my mother taking me shopping to a department store - she was looking for some new house dresses. They had a whole section in the ladies area just for little, cotton dresses to wear around the house. As time went on those dresses grew out of style but I sure loved my mother in her house dresses and missed them when they were gone.

Grandparents are the best.

I think my Great Grandma had a dog named that as well.
