Thanks to all for wishing mom well after that injection for vanishing bones. It all started when she fractured her foot last winter and they made her do a bone density test that came out horrible. Hopefully this injection they gave her will help. It's expensive but the insurance approved 80 percent of it which will leave mom to pay only 20 percent....which isn't bad if it works! I hate to see mom all broken in pieces!!
Even though mom has vanishing bones, she decided to go to Petsmart and get me a big bag of food and a Busy Bone!! She also got the cats a new toy even though Lilly tripped her the other night. She said it wasn't Lilly's fault. I don't know what is wrong with mom...she is acting strange. (Not unusual)
A message for Puddles....my boyfriend Rusty's mom left a message on my blog...she wants some of your beer!!!

This was a fun day. Mom was looking for Roaring Run, Va so we could go walking. We ended up on a 5 or 6 hour trip again...lost yet again. You would think she would take a map or something like a GPS but no.....she apparently loves to get lost.
We ended up sitting on the dock of the bay. No...got that wrong..we ended up on the banks of the James River.
Mom gets even more lost and ends up in this super nice expensive neighborhood. She finds the house for us to buy. That was two years ago and we are still waiting for the loan. It was only about several million dollars..that's all. Just thought of something....mom forgot to fill out the application for the house. We'll have to find another one!
We left that house and went the wrong way again.
Back to the Blue Ridge Parkway when it was in full color.
Back to the Peaks of Otter!
That's me today doing a dance for mom.
Now that mom has taken you from Roanoke to Craig County to Eagle Rock and then to the James River, back to the Peaks of Otter and now home, we hope we didn't bore you too much. We probably confused you but mom stays in a state of confusion!!! When mom takes me on a road trip, that's how she drives...in circles....from one place to another. So far, she's always made it home though!

Hi Holly, tell your Mom that our mom has vanishing bones too.But hers are just the beginning so she doesn't have to have shots, just take the pills.
Those are gorgeous shots of the fall colors. Mom lived in Va. for a little while and loved it there.

We wish we had some of your hot weather! We went right from summer into VREY chilly days and nights! Our leaves are turning just a little bit but they don't have the marvelous color of previous years. Momma is hoping that something changes soon to rescue our fall colors on parade!
