More pictures from our last road trip!

Mom stayed home with me and the kitties because of the fireworks on Sunday night.  The noise is scary to our ears.  Mom worries about us being alone.  She thinks I might try and jump through a window or something.   Anyway, we thought we'd put some more pictures from our trip the other day.  Mom sure took enough pictures.  Here's a linky to the Blue Ridge Parkway that has lots of beautiful places to go.  She and her late husband drove the entire parkway many decades ago.  She said it was gorgeous and so much fun.   Mom said she wished she had a digital camera back in those days!  She would probably have taken a million pictures.

Mom stopped right in the road to get pictures of these big dogs!  They wear their tags on their ears!

Mom took at least a dozen pictures of Mabry Mill.  It was hard to get a good picture because the place was packed with so many people. 

Mom finally stopped and took a picture of this sign that we pass so much.  She said she just never thought to get a picture because we live here!  Silly mom.  We are about five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway so it's easy to get there and always fun.

Mom said we probably won't be taking any trips this week because it's really hot and humid again.  We were lucky to have a few nice days.
