Me checking out the grass. It isn't looking good.
I love it here.
Still sniffing.
Another view of the log cabin. It is beautiful with the view.
Checking out the water levels. The water is really way down.
Another picture of a sign. Mom has to know where she went.
The overlook for Rocky Knob. It's very nice.
Mom stopped right in the road to get pictures of these big dogs! They wear their tags on their ears!
Rolling hills.
Just beautiful.
Mom took at least a dozen pictures of Mabry Mill. It was hard to get a good picture because the place was packed with so many people.
Mom finally stopped and took a picture of this sign that we pass so much. She said she just never thought to get a picture because we live here! Silly mom. We are about five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway so it's easy to get there and always fun.
Still sniffing.
Mom said we probably won't be taking any trips this week because it's really hot and humid again. We were lucky to have a few nice days.
Have a Great Day!
Lots of Love to All!!!

Great pictures! Those are some really big dogs!!!
We heard that the East Coast is going to sizzle this week. We have lots of rain today, but it is OK since our grass is in sad shape. It doesn't help to have a broken sprinkler system.
Hope you and the Mom find lots of things to keep you happy during the heat.
Woow - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Looks like you had a great time. I love the picture of the mill. So beautiful.
Looks like you guys had a great trip! It has been so hot here in NH were are hoping for rain very soon, but there is none in sight!
