Blogger ate my background!

Mom has had a few things going on the last couple of days.  First she started on "The Project".  Then my beautiful new collar came which sure made me and mom so happy!  Before that, the Blogger was going crazy and mom had given up and shut the computer down.  Meanwhile between my beautiful collar arriving, mom decided to try and work on her project.   She finished!!   Everything is sorted, packaged in piles of what kind of picture it is and mom scanned a few dozen pictures.

Today she was going to just run to the store in the car.  The heat was so hot in the car that the mirror inside just fell off and was dangling!  Well that kind of took up a few hours because she had to go to the mechanic's place to have it fixed.  She said all she could see while driving was herself and that was rather scary!  He fixed it at a very little charge and she finally came back home in this heat.

Here's some of the pictures that she scanned from her past.  They didn't come out really good because they are very old pictures but she hopes you enjoy them anyway!

One last look at her project.  All pictures are in bundles now in the basket.   She thanks Google for messing up the blogger because it made her work on it and get it done!  Dear Blogger..thanks but please don't do it again anytime soon!  BTW...my background is gone.  Did you eat it also?  Please give it back!   Pretty please!

I was looking for shade.  The grass is crunchy and dead.  Even the weeds are dying.   We need rain!

This was her friend's dog at a show in North Carolina.  He was a Belgium Tervuren and very beautiful.

This is Hobo, mom's first Cocker Spaniel.  He was visiting with Jack, a German Shepherd.

Little bitty Brittany Spaniel puppies!!  They were so cute according to mom.

This was her friend's other doggie.  She said he was a real sweetheart.

This was Dallas.  He belonged to mom's boss.  She said at one point, all four people in her office had Cocker Spaniels!  Her included!

Mom said this picture was really a very long time ago.  Like centuries ago almost.  The horse was called White Lady and was really jumpy, nervous and very fast.  Mom said she had to keep holding the reins back as hard as she could and she finally let them go to see how fast the horse could really run.  (Mom..that was not smart at all!)  The horse was racing across the meadow and suddenly turned at the end to go back the other way...the saddle and mom came halfway off while White Lady was racing along.  Mom finally gave up and let go...hit the ground landing on her behind.  She broke her finger and couldn't walk good for a few months!   That shows how young mom was when this happened.  She has better sense now then to just let a wild acting horse go to see how fast it can run.   Of course she can't ride anymore either!  She's allowed to look at horses and pet them.  That's all!

The black kitty was named Ives and the little one was named Spottie

Mom and Wayne (her late husband) bred Ives with their friend's white cat to see what the kittens would look like.  It was so much fun to see one of every color and one spotted!  Mom and Wayne kept Spottie and the rest got good homes.

This was when they lived in Georgia.  Ives, Spottie and Gray Kitty.  (Mom wasn't very original with names back then).  She said she named her Gray Kitty to start with and just left it like that!

Me still modeling my beautiful collar!!  I am so proud of it!!

Have a Great Day!!
Lots of Love to All!!!

Great pictures.

Sometimes you will loose your background because the host - in your case "Scrappin' Blogs Blogspot" has let their account lapse with their host.

Have a great day.

Wow - we are impressed that your mom finished that project so quickly. She needs to come here and help our Mom do something with hers. Great pics from the past - bad horse and silly mom. Hope you can find your background.
