It may be goodbye for now
Mom's computer is about to give up. Anyway, she has great big boxes coming in from Fed Ex and they are sitting around the room. Knowing her and how she is so slow and old, it may be a decade or two before she gets this one crushed by her running over it with the Jeep and the boxes unpacked and the new one hooked up right. (I sure hope it works!) I'm sad because if she doesn't do it right, I will not be able to visit my favorite friends. If we don't see you, it's not because we don't want to, it's because mom is very slow. If we don't see you tomorrow or the next day or so, we hope to be back soon. We love all of you very much.

I totally understand bout slooooow moms. No worries though, we'll await your return. But you will definately be missed so tells your mum to step on it...you know, like how her drives...hehehe!

Being slow must be contagious with the moms - we have the same problem here, Holly. But it sounds like your mom did lots of things with backing up (not OVER) the computer. BOLOLOL. We are sure she will have you up and running in no time. Good luck.

My old Mom always tells me that old Moms can learn new tricks so I bet your Mom will be up and running before long (the computer will be running - your Mom better not run with that fractured foot unless she's running away from the new computer.)
